Kitchen Remodel with Custom Oak Cabinets & Open-Concept Design
This kitchen remodel was a large-scale transformation that completely modernized our client’s home. We began by removing the spiral staircase and installing a new set of stairs with a sleek black metal railing. The kitchen received custom oak cabinets, granite countertops, and a new 12×24 tile floor, bringing both durability and timeless beauty to the space. We also added a new wet bar, wine cabinets, and all-new lighting to elevate both functionality and style.
To create a brighter, more open layout, we removed the wall separating the kitchen from the living and dining areas. Fresh paint throughout and new carpeting downstairs tied the entire renovation together.
The result is a stunning, highly functional kitchen that reflects the homeowner’s vision while adding long-term value to their property.
Before & After
Client Testimonial
We contracted with Simpson Construction and Excavation LLC to be our general contractor to perform kitchen renovation as well as some smaller jobs at our home at 2146 Kimberly Circle, Eugene, OR.
Our permanent home is in Las Cruces, New Mexico so most of the consultation, picking of materials, choosing color palette, etc.was done remotely.
Dave, our contractor, is easy to work with and truly takes pride in producing quality work. He is willing to listen, does not force his opinions on his clients, and does not hesitate to re-work something when it does not quite meet the client’s expectations.
Most importantly , Dave bucks the trend of typical contractors and delivers the finished product on time, as promised. Added bonus- Dave also has a quirky sense of humor. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Dave Simpson to anyone who is looking to do major or minor renovations to their home.
